Work Places Must Be Safe

At FIDA-Ghana, we firmly believe that sexual harassment in the workplace is a violation of fundamental human rights and must be addressed with urgency and commitment. Every individual deserves to work in an environment that is safe, respectful, and free from intimidation or abuse.

Sexual harassment not only undermines the dignity of victims but also limits their ability to thrive professionally. It perpetuates inequality, silences voices, and creates barriers to women’s full participation in the workforce. No person should be forced to endure harassment in order to maintain their livelihood.

As an organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of the rights of women and children, FIDA-Ghana continues to advocate for justice, provide legal support to victims, and push for stronger enforcement of laws that safeguard individuals in the workplace. We also emphasize the importance of education and awareness to prevent such violations and to empower victims to speak out
