On 27th November 2025, FIDA-Ghana officially launched its 40th Anniversary Celebration — marking four decades of providing free legal aid to women, children, and vulnerable groups across Ghana.
The launch brought together our staff, Executive Board, and media partners, united in our mission to strengthen access to justice.
During her address, President Gloria Ofori-Boadu highlighted the alarming rise of gender-based violence, emphasizing the urgent need for stronger partnerships, community involvement, and full implementation of the Free Medical Care provisions under the Domestic Violence Act.
As we mark 40 years of service during the 16 Days of Activism, we renew our commitment to ending all forms of violence and protecting the dignity of every person.
